With 15 years of business operations experience, Mike Quackenbush has spent the last decade with one of Canada’s largest bank-owned insurance companies with a focus in driving simpler, faster, and better measures of processes throughout the enterprise.
Most recently, Mike was responsible for strategic insights and performance measures focused on market opportunities in over 50 retail markets across Canada. Currently, he serves as a member of the Brokerage Sales Management Team, where he manages the Life, Health & Wealth Insurance MGA and National Account/IIROC firm relationships to champion and execute their sales growth, initiatives, and strategies.
Mike spent many years handling the marketing and industry relations for his Burlington-based family business, until it’s closure in 2012. It is during this time that Mike received his Certified Flooring Executive designation, the highest designation awarded by the World Floor Covering Association.
Having a passion for family history since childhood, Mike is a mentor, speaker, and advocate for heritage preservation. Through his business, NITROGENALOGY, Mike reunites adoptees with biological parents, coaches clients through their research, and consults on cases with genealogists around the world. He previously served on the Board of The Ontario Genealogical Society, leading the marketing portfolio and educational webinars. In 2016, Mike was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 10, “Rockstar” Genealogists.
Mike’s current community involvement includes being on the Executive Board for the Burlington Chiefs Jr. A Lacrosse Club.
